PAPÁ, NOS VAMOS A CASA

DAD, WE'RE GOING HOME

The other day I couldn't be with him (look for dad, I'm told Jaime said). We had changed his routine and he didn't like it.

Being a father is not something that nature has made difficult for us men, what is more complicated is “being” in it.

I don't think it's a question of time, something that we generally don't have as much time as we would like. It's not something archetypal either, there doesn't seem to be a single model, the same doesn't apply to everyone, we often don't know what to do... and things change, you go from hero to villain, from knowing everything to not knowing or understanding anything.

And yet there you are, and that's what's really important.

Every afternoon I go to look for him (Dad, we're going home, Jaime says). I'm very lucky.

Happy Father’s Day… Dad, we’re staying home.
