He has just written the letter to the Three Wise Men (…a very nice gift, says Jaime). We put on our coats and go to post it in the mailbox. We like Christmas.
These days everything is mixed together: excitement, nostalgia, happiness, sadness, hustle and bustle, loneliness… each one in their own way, doing things without realizing it and letting ourselves go.
In any case, these are special dates. There are meals, gifts and parties, and often, in our constant search for well-being, we are fascinated by abundance and luxury and end up associating the celebration with excess.
Today is Christmas Eve. What do you want for dinner, Jaime? ... Spanish omelette, he says. He knows what he likes and it doesn't have to do with anything special. The simple things, what we have right next to us and don't see, are important and we only become aware of them when we lose them.
