He's been acting strange for a few days, he's like he's absent-minded and sometimes his hands shake. My throat hurts... Jaime says, he might be having a crisis.
It is not unusual for people with ASD to have other disorders. In Jaime's case, epilepsy. It manifested itself in adolescence and to this day it persists despite having tried many things (medications, diets, alternative therapies, etc.). All to end up having to decide between things that you don't like because you know that, in one way or another, they will end up taking their toll.
There are times like this when things are not clear, choices are not easy and we may have an obsessive doubt about whether we have chosen well.
When we choose something, we discard other things. We do so with what we know at each moment and, in doing so, we assume responsibility for the consequences that our decisions may have.
There is no point in justifying yourself, you can only hope to be lucid enough to, if necessary, rectify and ask for indulgence, since no one knows the ultimate reason for your decision and there is always the possibility that you are wrong.
Medicine yes… says Jaime. He doesn’t want a headache, he wants to be well, that’s what we want.
